The Moundville Tract is comprised of 112.885 acres and is located approximately 2 miles Northwest of Washington, LA. Access is from Herbert Ortego Rd. The property has water frontage on Bayou Cocodrie/Bayou Courtableau and offers many opportunities such as, Recreational hunting and fishing, large acreage for a homesite, or for residential development. The tract offers large hardwood timber and a managed pine plantation that has recently been thinned. There is plenty of White-tailed deer and small game throughout the tract. There are several clearings (small fields) located on the tract which could be used for food plots, as well as a pipeline that crosses the property in a Northerly direction that offers an abundance of forage for the local wildlife. There is a local boat launch that is located approximately 2.5 miles downstream from the tract in the town of Washington. Access to the Acadiana Conservation Corridor Wildlife Management Area is only a few miles to the north via Bayou Cocodrie.
